This low-rise dual-plane intake manifold is built for Small Block Chevy street applications that need stronger torque, better throttle response, and broad usable power without stepping into a tall performance manifold. Its runner tuning and 180-degree firing order are aimed at improving drivability from idle through the mid-range while remaining suitable for a wide range of classic SBC combinations.
Key specs: Part Number 2001 / 2101 / 52001 / PC2001 / 82001, 4.05 in. intake height, dual plane design, aluminum construction, 4-barrel square-bore carburetor mounting, operating range idle to 5,500 RPM.
Fitment: Compatible with Chevy Small Block SBC V8 engines including 262, 265, 267, 283, 302, 305, 307, 327, 350, and 400 applications listed in the source data from 1955-1995. Designed for 1986 and earlier street applications, and will also fit 1987-up stock aluminum heads, but not 1987-up cast iron heads or Chevrolet Bow Tie heads. Accepts 4150-style or Q-Jet carburetors and late-model choke, water neck, air conditioning, alternator, and HEI setups. Includes an unmachined boss for an oil-fill tube. Verify cylinder head type, carburetor, and hood clearance before ordering.
