7156 High-Rise Dual Plane Intake for Pontiac V8 (1965–1979)
A high-rise, dual-plane intake manifold for Pontiac V8s: 326, 350, 389, 400, 421, 428 and 455. Larger plenum and runners match a modified engine with free-flowing exhaust and a bigger cam, for strong top-end power with good throttle response. Power band: 1,500 to 6,500 RPM.
- High-rise dual-plane design, 7.45 in. height (about 1-1/4 in. taller than stock)
- 4150-style square-bore 4-barrel carburetor flange
- Operating range: 1,500–6,500 RPM
Before you order:
- No provision for an OEM choke.
- Will not fit under a Trans Am shaker hood without modification; check hood clearance on other cars.
- On 1972-and-later heads, use an intake gasket that blocks off the exhaust crossover.

Yes, if it has a Pontiac-built V8 from the list above. Many 1977-and-later Pontiacs used engines from other GM divisions, so check the engine code.
