BBF 429 460 Intake Manifolds

The Haytalras 2166 is a low-rise dual-plane intake manifold for 1968–1987 Ford 385-series 429 and 460 big-block engines, with a square-bore carburetor flange. The low profile helps with hood clearance in trucks and full-size cars, and the dual-plane layout keeps strong low-end torque.

FAQ

Will it fit a 1988 or later 460 truck engine?

The 2166 is listed for 1968–1987 engines. Later fuel-injected 460s differ; email us your year and heads and we will confirm.

Is a 429/460 the same as an FE or a 400?

No. The FE (390–428) and the 351M/400 are different engine families with their own intakes. See Ford FE intakes and our 351W vs 351M guide.
