3001 Low-Rise Dual Plane Intake for Chevy Big Block Oval Port
A low-rise, dual-plane intake manifold for Chevy big-block V8s with oval port heads: 396, 402, 427 and 454. The 180-degree dual-plane runner layout builds torque from idle to 6,000 RPM with better throttle response than a stock intake. A stock-replacement style intake that suits trucks, towing and big-block street cars.
- Low-rise dual-plane design, 5.75 in. height
- 4150-style square-bore 4-barrel carburetor flange
- Operating range: idle–6,000 RPM
Before you order:
- For oval port heads only. Not for rectangle port heads.
- Will not fit under a Corvette hood without modification.
- For the C10 and other trucks, this is our recommended big-block intake.

Frequently Asked Questions
3001, 3026 or 3037?
The 3001 is the low-rise street and truck intake. The 3026 Air-Gap adds power on a built street engine; the 3037 single plane is for high RPM.
