7531 Air-Gap Dual Plane Intake for AMC / Jeep 304, 360 & 401

An Air-Gap, dual-plane intake manifold for AMC V8s: the 304, 360 and 401 used in AMC cars and in Jeep CJ, Wagoneer, Grand Wagoneer, Cherokee and J-Series trucks. The open space under the runners keeps them away from lifter-valley heat, so the air/fuel charge stays cooler and denser. Power band: 1,500 to 6,500 RPM.

• 4150-style square-bore 4-barrel carburetor flange
• Operating range: 1,500–6,500 RPM
• Standard oil fill, plus accessory bosses for the early air-conditioning support bracket

Frequently Asked Questions

7531 or 2131?

Both fit the 304, 360 and 401. The 7531 Air-Gap runs a cooler charge for more power on a built engine; the 2131 is the choice for a stock-style or towing engine.

Will it fit my Grand Wagoneer?

Yes. The 1984–1991 Grand Wagoneer uses the AMC 360.
