7551 Air-Gap Dual Plane Intake for Oldsmobile 400, 425 & 455

An Air-Gap, dual-plane intake manifold for Oldsmobile big-block V8s with stock-configuration heads. The open space under the runners keeps them away from lifter-valley heat, so the air/fuel charge stays cooler and denser. Power band: 1,500 to 6,500 RPM, for a strong street or street/strip Olds.

• Air-Gap dual-plane design, 5.54 in. height
• 4150-style square-bore 4-barrel carburetor flange
• Operating range: 1,500–6,500 RPM
• Standard oil fill, plus accessory bosses for the early air-conditioning support bracket

The 7551 dual plane is for street and street/strip use from 1,500 RPM. The 4150 single plane is for high-RPM racing (4,500–7,500 RPM).
