5026 Air-Gap Dual Plane Intake for Mopar 318, 340 & 360 (LA / Magnum)
An Air-Gap, dual-plane intake manifold for Chrysler small-block V8s: the LA 318, 340 and 360, and the Magnum 5.2L and 5.9L. The open space under the runners keeps them away from lifter-valley heat, so the air/fuel charge stays cooler and denser for more power. The runners move the power band about 1,000 RPM higher than a standard low-rise dual plane: 1,500 to 6,500 RPM.

Before you order:
- Set up for 340 / 360-style cylinder heads. On early LA heads the bolt holes are about 8° off and need modification plus socket-head bolts.
- Requires a 1975-or-earlier style water neck.
- No provision for an exhaust-heated choke and no exhaust crossover.
- Will not accept the stock Thermo-Quad carburetor.
- Not for Gen III Hemi or Mopar big blocks (383, 400, 440).

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it fit a Jeep Grand Wagoneer 360?
No. That is an AMC 360, a different engine. See our Jeep AMC V8 intakes.
What carburetor does it take?
A square-bore 4150-style 4-barrel. The stock Thermo-Quad will not fit.
