Intake manifolds for the 1988–1999 Chevrolet and GMC C/K trucks (the GMT400 "OBS" body): C1500 and K1500 pickups, Silverado and Sierra, Tahoe, Yukon, full-size Blazer and Suburban with the 305 (5.0L) or 350 (5.7L) small block. These trucks span two different cylinder heads, so the right intake depends on the year of your engine.
Our intake manifolds are cast and CNC-machined in our own factory and checked for air-tightness, dimensions and finish before packing. They ship within 24 hours on business days from Ontario, California and Bloomingdale, Georgia, with free US shipping.
| Engine | Intakes that fit | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| 1988–1995 305 / 350 TBI (angled center bolt heads) | 2104, 2001, 2013, 2026, 2021, 2031 | 4-barrel carburetor; 2104 and 2001 also take a spread-bore carb |
| 1988–1995 305 / 350, converting to multi-port EFI | 300-260 | Needs injectors, throttle body and engine management |
| 1996–1999 305 / 350 Vortec (L30 / L31) | 2028, 2007, 2116, 2033 | Vortec 8-bolt pattern only |
The 1999 Silverado/Sierra (new GMT800 body) uses the 4.8/5.3/6.0 LS-based Vortec engines; see LS intake manifolds instead. The 1999 "Classic" C/K 2500/3500, Tahoe and Suburban still use the 5.7 Vortec covered here.
• 1988–1995 truck, carb conversion: the 2104 or 2001 low-rise dual plane for towing and daily driving. The 2026 Air-Gap or 2021 for street performance.
• 1996–1999 Vortec, towing or daily: the 2007 takes a spread-bore or square-bore carburetor; the 2028 Air-Gap adds a cooler charge.
• Higher-RPM build: the 2031 (1988–1995 heads) or the 2033 (Vortec heads).
• Check the heads, not just the truck: many of these trucks have had engines swapped. A 1996+ Vortec head has 8 intake bolts (4 per side); a 1987–1995 head has 12 with the 4 center bolts angled. Our Vortec page and TBI guide show how to tell.
• Leaving TBI or Vortec injection: the carbureted intakes are 4-barrel. Plan for a carburetor or a 4150-flange throttle-body EFI kit, plus the fuel pressure, ignition and sensor changes that go with it.
• Emissions: for off-road and racing use. Check your state's rules before installing on a registered vehicle.
No. Vortec intakes only bolt to 1996-and-later Vortec heads. A 1994 truck with its original engine needs a 1987–1995 intake such as the 2104.
Yes. GMC versions use the same 305 and 350 engines, so the same intakes fit.
Email us the year, engine and head casting number and we will confirm fitment before you order.
