2026 Air-Gap Dual Plane Intake for Chevy Small Block (1957–1995)
An air-gap, dual-plane intake manifold for Chevy small-block V8s (262–400 cu. in.) with standard cylinder heads. The open air space under the runners keeps them away from lifter-valley heat, so the air/fuel charge stays cooler and denser on its way to the heads. Power band: 1,500 to 6,500 RPM.

Before you order:
- Fits standard SBC cylinder heads. Fitment depends on your cylinder heads, not the vehicle year alone.
- 1987–1995 angled center-bolt heads require adapter bushings.
- Not for Vortec 8-bolt heads (see our 2028) or LT1 reverse-flow heads.
- Check hood clearance, carburetor linkage and accessory fitment.

Frequently Asked Questions
What does “air-gap” do?
The runners are separated from the hot lifter valley, so the incoming charge picks up less heat. A cooler charge is denser, which helps power.
Will it fit Vortec heads?
No. For 1996+ Vortec 8-bolt heads, choose the 2028.
