Haytalras SBC intake manifolds fit 262–400 small-block Chevy V8s, from mild street engines to higher-RPM weekend builds. The range covers low-rise and high-rise dual-plane manifolds, Air-Gap dual-plane designs, single-plane race-style intakes, Vortec-head versions and EFI options.
Our V8 intake manifolds are cast and CNC-machined in our own factory, then checked for air-tightness, dimensions and finish before they are packed. Orders ship within 24 hours on business days from our warehouses in Ontario, California and Bloomingdale, Georgia.
1. Check your cylinder heads first. Small block Chevy heads come in three intake bolt patterns: 1955–1986 heads, 1987–1995 heads (the four center bolts are angled), and 1996–2002 Vortec heads. An intake for one pattern will not bolt cleanly onto another, so this matters more than engine size. 305, 327, 350 and 400 engines share the same intake as long as the heads match.
2. Pick dual plane or single plane. A dual-plane intake gives strong low- and mid-range torque, which suits street cars and trucks. A single-plane intake moves power higher in the RPM range and suits cammed, higher-revving builds.
3. Match the carburetor flange and hood. Square-bore (4150) fits Holley-style carbs; spread-bore fits Quadrajet-style carbs. High-rise intakes need more hood clearance than low-rise.
| Your build | Good starting point |
|---|---|
| 1955–1986 heads, stock or mild street 350 | 2701 Low-Rise Dual Plane |
| Mild street build, cooler intake charge | 2026 Air-Gap Dual Plane |
| More top-end, still street driven | 2021 High-Rise Dual Plane |
| Cammed, high-RPM build | 2031 High-Rise Single Plane |
| 1987–1995 TBI-era heads (angled center bolts) | 2104 Low-Rise Dual Plane |
| Quadrajet / spread-bore carburetor | 2001 Dual Plane Spread Bore |
| 1996–2002 Vortec heads | Vortec intake manifolds |
| Multi-port EFI | 7137 Multi-Port EFI |
Yes, if the heads match. A 305 and a 350 use the same intake bolt pattern, so choose by head type (1955–1986, 1987–1995 or Vortec), not by displacement.
On 1987-and-later heads the four center intake bolts are angled instead of straight. Our guide SBC TBI vs 4-Barrel Intake shows what to look for.
It depends on the year: see 1975–1986 C10/K10 intake manifolds or 1987–1991 R10/V10 intake manifolds, each with a fitment table by year and engine.
Low-rise favors low-end torque and hood clearance; high-rise supports more top-end power. See Low-Rise vs High-Rise SBC Dual-Plane Intakes.
Email us your year, engine and head casting number and we will confirm fitment before you order.
