Chevy Chevelle & El Camino Intake Manifolds

Intake manifolds for the Chevrolet Chevelle and Malibu (1964–1977) and the El Camino (1964–1987), whether yours runs a small block 283, 305, 327, 350 or 400, or a big block 396, 402 or 454. The intake depends on which engine family is in the car and, for big blocks, on the cylinder head port shape.

Which one should you choose?

• Original-look small block cruiser: the 2701 low-rise fits under the stock hood and keeps street torque. Keeping the Q-Jet? Take the 2001.

• Built 350 with a cam: the 2026 Air-Gap or 2021 / 8150 high-rise dual planes; the 2031 for a high-RPM engine.

• SS 396 or 454: the 3001 for a stock-height street engine, the 3026 Air-Gap for more power, or the 3037 single plane for a strip-oriented build.

Before you order

• Big block heads: our big block intakes are for oval port heads. High-performance rectangle port heads (as on some L78 396 and LS6 454 engines) need a rectangle port intake.

• Hood clearance: high-rise intakes plus a tall air cleaner may not clear a flat stock hood. Measure before you order, especially on non-cowl-induction cars.

• Emissions: for off-road and racing use. Check your state's rules before installing on a registered vehicle.

FAQ

Do the Chevelle and El Camino use the same intake?

Yes, when they have the same engine. The El Camino shares the Chevelle's A-body and engines, so the intake depends on the engine, not the body style.

Will a Chevelle intake fit my Monte Carlo or Malibu?

Yes, if it has the same small block or big block. Choose by engine.
